About us

Bridgnorth Players is a drama group for 18+. We meet monthly on the first Wednesday of the month from 7.30 to 10pm. We are currently meeting in the upstairs room at the Shakespeare pub on West Castle Street. In June and December, we hold social events, usually at a member's house. We put on 2 productions each year, in June and November and intersperse these with rehearsed play readings for members and friends, theatre visits, workshops and any other fun event we can think of. Bridgnorth Players aims to be open, inclusive and welcoming; give every member an opportunity to be involved and to learn about all aspects of drama and performance, and to take a serious approach to amateur drama.
