Services provided by the Town Council

Broseley Town Council provides the following services.  If you have any comments or suggestions, please let us know via the contact page.

  • Some street lighting - Broseley Town Council is responsible for some of the street lighting in the town, mainly on estates.  Other street lights are owned and maintained by Shropshire Council. 
    If you have a query about a street light, please contact the Town Clerk on 01952 882172 in the first instance.
  • The Birchmeadow Centre is owned by the Town Council and operated by the Birchmeadow Management Committee, which receives some grant funding from the Council.
  • The Cemetery for Broseley and the Cemetery Chapel, located on Ironbridge Road.
  • Park View play area and the grassed area at the bottom of Calcutts Road, Jackfield.
  • The bus shelters in Bridgnorth Road and Edinburgh Road.
  • The Town Council supports a number of other facilities/events provided by not-for-profit organisations in Broseley, these include:
    • Birchmeadow Park
    • Broseley in Bloom
    • Victoria Hall
