Parish Paths P3 Group

The Group now has it's own individually set up and run website found here: http://www.2shrop.net/cp3 and all new developements will be found on his website, alhough some of the P3 groups news will still be updated here.

This group continues to expand and walks are planned on a regular basis. The group is looking towards publishing local walks and trails which we can all enjoy. Should you want to find out more please contact Russell on 718194.

There are now 5 local walk leaflets available and information boards in situ in Condover & Dorrington

As you will have noticed two parish footpath maps have been installed one in Condover outside the school and one at Jubilee gardens Dorrington. This local initiative has already received positive comments from residents and keen walkers visiting our villages and a further two are planned for Stapleton and Ryton. This has been made possible with the support of Shropshire Council Local Joint Committee, local businesses and the Parish Council.

The weather has not put the P3 Group off continuing with their RoW maintenance plan; as stiles and bridges continue to be replaced and improved in the Dorrington Shadymoor area, whilst Network rail have agreed to replace stiles to the south west of Dorrington. Three Walk Sheets have been produced which are downloadable from the P3 site (link above) where you can get involved in the group. You will probably also find the Walk Sheets in your local pubs too!
