Coreley Walks

 

"CORELEY WALKS' A great success!

The first Coreley walk took place on Saturday August 21st 2010

Celebrating the completion of upgrading the Brookrow bridle path, a total of 14 walkers, and 4 dogs met at Coreley Memorial Hall to begin a 3.5 mile walk.

Walkers proceeded up the hill, across the common to the "Brick Kiln Floor". From there they made their way through the fern towards "The Poplars", on to Studley where they joined the bridleway, then up the Palentine Lane, and back to the Coreley Memorial Hall for tea and cakes and a raffle. We received lots of positive feed-back, and suggestions for other walks.

OUR NEXT CORELEY WALK IS PLANNED FOR SATURDAY 30th OCTOBER , 2pm start FROM THE CORELEY MEMORIAL HALL

Walk will take in the areas of  Hints and St. Peters Church and will be approximately 3.5 miles.
