Creative Company work with Arts Alive and Flicks in the Sticks to bring live professional dance, music and theatre and show films at Shifnal Village Hall. We run participatory activities for children during school holidays in drama and storytelling. Creative Company has recently been awarded funding from Awards for All and Bridgnorth District Arts to run dance classes in African and Bhangra dance in Shifnal. Classes will take place on Thursday evenings at Idsall Sports Centre Gymnasium, with a youth dance class for aged 11-16 yrs at 5.30pm - 7.00pm and an adult dance class for aged 16+ yrs at 8pm - 9.30pm. The first class will take place on Thursday 13th November. Bhangra will be on 13th Nov, 27th Nov & 4th Dec, African Dance will be on 20th Nov, 11th Dec & 18th Dec. Spring term dates: 8th Jan-12th Feb 2009 African, 26th Feb-2nd April 2009 Bhangra. Summer term dates: 23rd April-4th June '09 African, 11th June-16th July '09 Bhangra. Classes will take place during term time only. Charges for classes will be £3.50 per session for the youth class or £15 for six sessions (half a term) and £4 per session for the adult class or £20 for six sessions (half a term).
