Christmas 2007

The rain that fell on Christmas Eve, causing the Carols on School Green to be moved into the church, petered out over night and Christmas Day dawned quite bright and calm. Visibility from the summit of the hill was good. The wind did freshen later in the day but the rain kept away. All in all a good day to enjoy being out in the great outdoors!

Lots of people signed my card and enjoyed a chocolate or two. I recognise many as 'regulars' but there are some new names which is great! The furthest travelled from Edinburgh and York but there is also a greeting in French - I don't know if that means we had French visitors!

I am glad I put in a few extra chocolates because when I collected the tin there was only 3 left and 1 of those had been nibbled by a mouse!

The camera films will be developed in the next few days and the pictures displayed in our photo album.

Thanks to everyone who signed the card and enjoyed being on 'The Hill'.See you next year!
