Aston on Clun Broadplace

Aston on Clun Broadplace offers free community access to IT and wireless broadband at the Kangaroo Inn, Aston on Clun, near Craven Arms in South Shropshire. There is also a wireless link to the Village hall.

What is a 'Broadplace'?

A Broadplace gives people in the local community free access to IT using nine high-spec laptops connected to the Internet by wireless link.

Aston on Clun's Broadplace is one of 37 Broadplaces set up by an organisation called Switch on Shropshire (SoS) which made the whole thing possible.

Our laptops are based at The Kangaroo Inn, Aston on Clun, Shropshire and are available when the pub is open.
