TALK on THE BURROW plus a FIELD VISIT
On the evening of Thursday 24 May Dr Andy Wigley of Shropshire Council's Archaeological Unit will give a talk in the village hall on
"Shropshire's hill forts; origins, landuse and social significance in the landscape with special reference to The Burrow"
On the following Sunday 27 May Dr Wigley will lead a walk around The Burrow and explain aspects of how it functioned.
Further details will be announced neared the time.

See the attachment below for the list of birds sighted in Hopesay Parish. In addition to this list 6 Lesser Black-backed Gulls were seen in Aston on Clun on 17th May 2011, bringing the total to 100!
