Details : Peter is returning to Hopesay WI to tell us all about the mysterious Wild Edric. Have you ever noticed the 'Wild Edric Way' signs on local paths and wondered .. who, where and why ? Well, this evening is the time and place to find out the answers to those and many other questions about the legendary Wild Edric !

Details : Malcolm returns to Hopesay WI to share an entertaining evening, as he demonstrates the techniques used when drawing cartoon caricatures of famous people. This will be a fun, hands-on session, where we can all discover our artistic skills !

Details : Rob swift from 'bread2bake' will be enthusiastically demonstrating how to make, shape and bake bread dough, with additional ingredients and techniques to create some rather delicious, speciality breads. There will be yummy tasters to try and lots of inspirational ideas (and maybe even some breads) to take home.

Details : John is a volunteer for the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO), who are keen to gather support for their Garden Birdwatching scheme. His visit to Hopesay WI will help us to realise the importance of our gardens in supporting our local birds, and the part we can play in protecting these delightful creatures by making our gardens more bird-friendly.

Subject : African Village Support in Eastern Uganda
Guest Speaker : Simon Carless
Competition : A slice of delicious cake
Details : Simon will be showing us, with the aid of slides, the work of 'African Village Support'. This is a small charity which works in Eastern Uganda with schools and Women's self-help groups. Their aim is to improve the quality of life for the people of rural eastern Uganda. Come and find out more about their work, aims and achievements.
