The Community Car Scheme is now operating within the three Parishes of Kinnerley, Knockin and Melverley.

It is a Shropshire County Council scheme organised and operated by volunteer drivers drawn from within the three parishes. It provides subsidised transport for people who are, for what ever reason, without their own transport and for whom the public bus service is either unsuitable or unavailable.

A wide range of reasons for taking advantage of this scheme are allowed; these include. but are not restricted to, visits to medical centres and hospitals, connecting with the public bus and railway systems, shopping locally, visiting friends etc. If you are unsure whether the journey is covered by this scheme why not ring the coordinator on: 07929 972413 and check.
