Upgrading facilities
The bar available to hirers of the main hall for functions, presentations etc, has been redesigned, refurbished and extended to offer greater ease of use and access for guests.
Funding success
Funding has been successfully achieved through the 'St.Oswald & Ruyton XI Towns Local Joint Committee', which has allowed for the purchase of, and installing of required standard fire doors complete with vision panels, and a wireless fire alarm system in the building.
Village Hall Management Committee; 'Secretary' Position
We are looking for a local individual who would like to be involved in the running of the Village Hall in the voluntary position of 'Secretary' on the Management Committee. The Committee meets three times a year, where your role will be to prepare the agenda, record accurately the minutes of the meeting, and produce copied minutes for subsequent meetings, along with monitoring our email address dealing with enquiries, bookings etc.

Morda Village Fun Day; September 12th 3-9pm
A celebratory village event will be held on Sunday 12th September. 3-8pm. Lots of exciting stalls and competitions, refreshments and a children's disco.
