Saturday June 6th: 2.00 p.m. Old Oswestry walk,

To find out about the new 'Breathing Places' path plus look at archaeology and wildlife. As part of 'Celebrating Breathing Places' national BBC Festival.Meet at main entrance. (1 -2 hrs long, depending on interest, wear appropriate clothing for outdoor conditions)

Sunday 26th July: 11 am - 3pm. "Explore Archaeology "

Family Fun Day - introducing archaeology with demonstrations, crafts, re-enactors, guided walks, and finds identification with fun activities for young children.Whittington Castle, Nr Oswestry.

The Report of the Second Seminar, entitled 'Life and Death in Iron Age Communities of the Northern Marches' will be out soon, and there are still some copies left from the First Seminar, entitled 'The Archaeology and Landscape of the North Shropshire Marches' available at Mile End TIC and Oswestry Heritage Centre, priced £1.50.
