Chair of the Shropshire Partnership

Shropshire Partnership has an independent Chair. The current Chair is Robin Thompson who was appointed in 2009.

The Thompson family runs the family business on the Sansaw Estate, Hadnall which incorporates the impressive eco friendly Hardwicke Pavilions Business Park.   

Robin says:"As a local resident who cares deeply about Shropshire I am delighted to have been asked to take on this role. I believe that residents deserve cost effective and high quality public services, and the Partnership's challenge is to concentrate on developing new ideas and approaches to make this happen".

A past president of the Shropshire Horticultural Society, Mr Thompson was the first chairman of South Shropshire Housing Association and deputy Chairman of the Rural Development Commission and is on the Board of Trustees of the Pony Club.

Keith Barrow, Leader of Shropshire County Council, is the Vice Chair of the Shropshire Partnership.
