Shadow Health & Wellbeing Board
The Health and Wellbeing Board is currently in shadow form with the purpose of overseeing the creation of a Shropshire Health and Wellbeing Board by April 2013. The Health and Wellbeing Board will have a number of statutory responsibilities involving developing a joint health and wellbeing strategy, commissioning health services and holding health care providers to account.
The Health & Wellbeing Board will be a committee of the local authority, and will contribute to the delivery of the Community Strategy.
