About Snailbeach Village Hall

Snailbeach Village Hall, standing in a picturesque setting at the gateway to the Stiperstones National Nature Reserve, serves a scattered hillside community which has twice won awards in the Calor Gas/Daily Telegraph Village of the Year competition in the last decade. Partly rebuilt and modernised in 2009, the hall is home to organisations ranging from the local WI to the Stiperstones brass band and regularly hosts special events which also attract visitors who find the location only an easy mile off the A488 extremely convenient, with parking available. Snailbeach Mine, which has the best set of preserved lead mine buildings and features in Shropshire - and probably the whole country - is close by and the popular Bog Visitor Centre is only three miles further along the same road. Booking inquiries for the hall can be made via 01743 791633.

ALL THIS AND A

PLUS

Public toilets are situated immediately next to the hall (extreme left of picture), as are a bus stop, telephone box and postbox
