Diamond Jubilee Celebrations
The Queen has said
"It is my sincere hope that the Diamond Jubilee will be an opportunity for people to come together in a spirit of neighbourliness and celebration of their own communities"
Monday 4th June gives us this opportunity
It is already planned to have a short service of thanksgiving led by Rev Andy Ackroyd from St Peters before a picnic lunch on the field adjacent to the Village Hall.

ÿ Display of Vintage Machinery, Cars and Bikes
ÿ Bouncy Castle
ÿ Jubilee cup cakes
ÿ Make a Crown competition
ÿ Send a Balloon
ÿ Souvenir scrolls etc.
If you can help or have any ideas how we can make this a real community celebration please come to next meeting on Wednesday 25th April 7.30p.m. In Village Hall

There are currently 2 vacancies and we are looking for interested people to be co-opted onto the Parish Council.

This request for feedback has come from the Shropshire Council Outdoor Recreation Team
To help improve our services we undertake an annual Rights of Way user satisfaction survey.
Please take the time to complete this short questionnaire and help us to develop and improve the Rights of Way network.
In these days of stringent financial measures your responses will help us to identify key areas for maintenance and development.
The survey is in three parts:
ÿ Part 1 is about Rights of Way,
ÿ Part 2 Parks and Countryside sites, and
ÿ Part 3 asks for details about yourself.
The closing date for responses is 31st March 2012.
