SUNDAY 7TH AUGUST 2011
THE CITADEL SHOWGROUND, WESTON UNDER REDCASTLE
Looks like its going to be a record breaking event. It all starts at 11.45am with an official opening by Shirley Tart, Shropshire Magazine at 2pm.
Main ring attractions include parades of Vintage Tractors, Classic Cars, Shire Horse parade, Carriage Driving, Mounted Pony Club Games, North Shropshire Hounds, Terrier Racing, Childrens Sports with Tug of War competition Concluding with a Grand Parade of all the days winners.
A Companion Dog Show will take place along side the main attractions along with stalls to include Pinxton Puppets, Ollie the Organ, displays of owls and hawks. All washed down with local beers and Pimms. Traditional afternoon teas and cakes with a BBQ.
There is truly something for everyone, for a fun traditional afternoon out.
