Ashford Carbonell is a very attractive village to the south of Ludlow located in the Teme Valley. It is set in attrative open countryside with much of the village being in a Conservation Area. According to the 2001 Census the population of Ashford Carbonell was estimated to be 323 persons and contained 175 dwellings. Ashford Carbonell which has its own Parish Council which is within the principal Local Goverment area of Shropshire Council is sometimes spelt with only one 'l'. The purpose of this website is to provide information about the Parish Council and links to Shropshire Council and other Local Organisations. The Parish Council usually meets every six weeks in Ashford Carbonell Village Hall at 7.15pm and at at the comencement of each meeting the Parish Council allows members of the public to raise issues regarding matters included on the agenda. If any any person within the Parish wishes an item to be placed on the Council's Agenda please contact the Clerk of the Parish Council.
