Pride of Shropshire Awards 2011

Much Wenlock Town Council’s now-disbanded Lady Forester Community Nursing Home Working Group won the Shropshire Community Group Award. Sponsored by Shropshire Housing Group, “this award is open to any voluntary community group or voluntary organisation which has come together and made a real difference to local people’s everyday lives. This can include environmental projects like litter picking, organising a fun day, helping vulnerable people like the old, the very young or helping people with problems.”
